Sogefi, the automotive component company of CIR Group, has designed the oil filter module for the new Maserati Levante, unveiled at the recent New York International Auto Show.
At the heart of the Levante Trofeo is a 3.8 litre, twin turbocharged V8 made in Maranello, Italy by Ferrari. Sogefi engineers have been working in partnership with Ferrari for a long time to provide products that meet their uncompromising requirements for the best in advanced engine technology.
The oil filter module designed by Sogefi provides best-in-class performance and durability; the use of a protective mesh for the bypass valve offers the best results in terms of efficiency, pressure drop at high flow rates and filter element life as well as mechanical stiffness in all the extreme conditions required by these high capacity sport engines.
As a result, the Trofeo's performance capability falls in line with some of the fastest SUVs in the world such as the Bentley Bentayga, also equipped with a Sogefi oil filter, as confirmation of its advanced filter technologies for global OEMs.
