The filter will be immediately available for both OES and Aftermarket with the Sogefi Group’s brands: Coopersfiaam, FRAM® and Purflux”.
Dacia Duster had chosen Sogefi to protect K9K Dacia Duster diesel engine, awarded with “Autobest 2011” prize. Thanks to filtration module “FL293”, included in Sogefi’s “FL” range, engine’s performances are improved with reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
The “FL293” is an application of Sogefi’s exclusive “Chevron” pleated technology. This enables high engine protection performances. Moreover, the tailored design of “FL293” made it the ideal filtration solution for K9K Dacia Duster’s diesel engines.
Sogefi’s R&D teams developed the “FL293” aluminium casting body design to optimize oil flow. In addition, thanks to new fixation points, this oil module filter is fitted to support other engine components and optimize the space, which leads to a clear advantage of space gain for the carmaker.
K9K fits out some of the most popular car models among Renault Group’s such as: Twingo, Clio, Kangoo, New Scénic, Laguna, Megane and the entire Dacia range. Moreover this engine also equips Nissan Micra and Qashqai models.ù
The filter will be immediately available for both OES and Aftermarket with the Sogefi Group’s brands: Coopersfiaam, FRAM® and Purflux.
“Autobest 2011” award underlines the importance of the long run partnership between Renault Group and Sogefi Group which started at the beginning of 2000. “FL293” is the fifth version of oil filtration modules made by Sogefi Filtration for Renault Group’s K9K engines.
Only in the past 3 years, Renault Group produced more than 1 million of K9K diesel engines per year. Renault Group asked Sogefi Group to produce new oil module filter versions to be assembled in Gen5 and Gen6 engines, the K9K forthcoming models. “FL293” oil filtration modules are produced in Sogefi’s Slovenian plant based in Medvode, while previous versions are manufactured in Sogefi’s French plant based in Vire.
Dacia Duster was awarded also with the “Trophée de l’Argus” in France and it is “the Car of the Year” for the Romanian Automotive Press Association.
